Well, this is how my husband refers to our IUI. We went ahead with the IUI yesterday. Now we must wait for 2 looonggg weeks before we find out if we're pregnant.
Ah yes, how could I forget. And we are now doing the progesterone IM injections. But, I don't care, stick me with all the needles in the world as long as I get pregnant.
So, today I'm off to have a nice relaxing lunch with my DH. We are having restaurant at a new restaurant in town. Gosh I hope it all works out. In the meantime, I'll just try to relax and pray that it works.

fingers crossed for you!! xo
2WW SUCKS!!! I'll be there soon myself. If you find something that helps pass the time, do share.
relax all you can! I'll be hoping for you too!
I hope the 'deposit' 'clears'!
I am so routing for you. I have actually thinking about you daily- I have one more week to wait to find out. I was suprised to hear about the progesterone shots. Do they always do that with IUI'? My doctor didn't give that to me. Last time, when I got pregnant, I used progesterone suppositories once we found out I was pregnant, but the doctor wasn't originally going to give them to me. I had some left from another doctor and after asking a few times, she agreed to "let" me use them. I wonder if I should ask for the shots?
Thank you all for your good wishes and good vibes. It means so much to me.
Lisa dg - I'm cheering for you as well. One week, hopefully it will go by fast. I've been working a lot so that helps a bit I guess.
With the 1st IUI I did progesterone suppositories. They were messy and my progesterone was on the low side if I remember correctly. After that, yes I began doing the progesterone injections until the pregnancy test, in my case, I was pregnant with Ethan and I continued the shots until week 12. I had weekly progesterone levels drawn. After one week, it did drop and I had to increase my progesterone to 2ml everyday.
I will have a 7 dpo progesterone level drawn Wed. Did you have a level drawn?
You know, I don't know what they are testing me for when I get my levels tested- I know they were testing FSH on day three and estrogen levels during the injections. I don't recall projesterone being tested- Maybe they were and just didn't mention it because it was normal.
I'll ask next appointment. In any case, I am still crossing my fingers for you and will say a prayer....
